General booking conditions of Campercontact
Through our app and website, you can book various campsites and motorhome sites. Campercontact mediates in making the booking between you and the host. The following general terms and conditions apply.

1. About Campercontact
Via the Campercontact website and app, you can book your overnight stay. If you make a booking via our website, the host - the owner or manager - will provide the pitch. Through the website and app you can use Campercontact's Reservation System. Campercontact thereby mediates the formation of a travel agreement between you and the host. The host - the actual provider of the site - is always the one who provides your reserved site. Campercontact's full name is "Campercontact B.V." and is registered in the Chamber of Commerce register under number 89023455.

2. Accommodations via Campercontact
If you make a reservation for an overnight stay via the booking system on our website and/or app, you can choose from various accommodation options at campsites or Motorhome sites.
3. Pets
It is not guaranteed to bring pets on all sites. You should always specify at the time of booking whether you want to bring your pet. The following conditions usually apply:
- most hosts charge a fee for your pets' stay.
4. Information on Campercontact
We do our best to inform you correctly, but it may happen that information on our website is inadvertently incorrect. Photos and other information may inadvertently create an incorrect image. As soon as we notice this, we will moderate and correct the information. Final departure and arrival times are always given in your booking confirmation.
5. Reviews
On our website, you will find reviews from guests who have visited and booked the venue. Guests who book through this platform receive a request to provide a review about the place shortly after their stay. Campercontact posts the reviews without editorial interference on the day it is given by the guest. Should you find a review inappropriate, you can always let us know.

Should Campercontact itself find after the review that the review contains inaccuracies or unsympathetic language has been used in the review, a review may be removed. For more information about our terms of use, please refer to our consumer terms of condition.
6. Bookings and your data
As soon as you complete the booking form on the website/app for an accommodation in a certain period with the corresponding price by clicking the order button, a booking is made (hereinafter: "booking").
You will receive confirmation of your booking via e-mail. This confirmation is your booking confirmation. In the booking process, we ask for your details and those of your fellow guests. We trust that these details are correct. You are liable for the obligations arising from the travel agreement, your (co-)guests are each liable for their own part. We handle your data with care. We process your personal data that you provide during the booking process in accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and our Privacy Statement. When booking, we pass on your personal data to the host. We also ask the host and associated software to handle your personal data carefully in compliance with the applicable regulations.
7. Overnight price and other costs
The applicable prices for use of the accommodation or a package are listed on the website. Prices are subject to change. The costs for surcharges, options and extras are stated in the booking process.
8. Reservation costs
The reservation fee is €2,50 per booking.
9. Discount
Possible discounts will be displayed during the booking process. It is not possible to combine discounts. One discount is automatically selected during the booking process, which is the discount that offers the most benefit to you. If a last-minute or early booking discount applies, no other discount will be calculated.
10. Payment
a direct booking
You guarantee your booking with a direct payment of the booking. The (advance) payment amounts to 100% of the travel sum, reservation costs, any and all additional items ordered. After you have paid the full travel sum, you will receive a receipt via e-mail stating that the travel sum due has been paid.
11. No revocation - someone else in your place?
After you have agreed to these terms and conditions as the main or principal guest and have finalised the booking details, you will receive a message on your screen that the booking is final, thus the agreement via our website or app is concluded online. Campercontact will send a confirmation to the main guest by email immediately after booking. The confirmation is deemed to have reached the main guest when he or she has been able to take note of it, or when he or she can reasonably be considered to have been able to take note of it. Please note that bookings made via our app or web are final.
The so-called 'cooling off period', referred to as 'distance selling' in the law, does not apply to the travel contract you book via our site or app.
The landlord already has the money in their account, what now? The landlord receives the money once the arrival date has passed. It may happen that, for example due to miscommunication, the guest(s) did not stay overnight and would like a refund. If this is the case, please contact Campercontact via booking@campercontact.com to discuss possible solutions.
12. Cancellation
You may cancel the travel contract with the host. You will then owe the following cancellation fees:
Free cancellation
Some accommodation offers 'flexible cancellation'. This means that you can cancel this accommodation free of charge up to a certain number of days before your arrival date. This is reflected in the presentation on our website and will be mentioned on your booking confirmation.
13. Changing your travel agreement
Have you booked a campsite and want to make changes to your booking? Sometimes this is possible.
Please note that changes may incur costs. Change requests to Campercontact are submitted to the host/site. The host decides whether changes are possible and if there are any costs involved. Campercontact will let you know as soon as possible. If modification is not possible, you decide whether you stick to your booking or cancel it. If no choice is made or if you do not respond in time, the contract will be executed in accordance with the original booking. Campercontact charges a maximum amount of 22.50 euros for amendment costs. Of course, you can always cancel.
14. Changes by the host
The host can change the travel contract due to important circumstances. These are circumstances in which the host cannot reasonably be expected to fulfil the travel contract. As soon as these circumstances arise, the host must present you with an alternative equivalent offer without further costs within 48 hours (2 working days). This obligation does not apply if the cause of the change is attributable to the guest(s).
The replacement alternative offer takes into account:
If you wish to make use of the alternative offer, let the host know within 3 working days. If you do not wish to take up the alternative offer, you will let the host know within 3 working days that you are waiving the offer and cancelling the travel contract. The venue will then refund the rental fee paid by you on behalf of the host, unless the host refunds you itself.
15. Obligations of your host
Your host holds all necessary permits and has taken out the necessary insurance(s) covering damage caused by fire, flood, storm and any other external calamity and against civil liability. Your host is obliged to perform the travel contract in accordance with the information on the website and as stated in the booking confirmation, unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing between you and the host. Any damages in connection with loss of travel enjoyment directly attributable to your host due to a failure to fulfil the travel contract shall be compensated by your host. The maximum amount of compensation you can hold your host to is the rental price paid by you. You will not receive compensation if the damage is not attributable to your host, or to the person whose assistance he uses in the performance of the contract, because:
16. Limitation of liability
Nor does the host accept liability for damages for which there is a claim for compensation under a cancellation insurance policy. The guest shall use the accommodation at his/her own risk. The host shall not be liable for unforeseen nuisance caused by activities in the vicinity of the accommodation, nor for noise nuisance caused by traffic, animals or from buildings or premises. In such cases, his liability is unlimited. The exclusions and/or limitations of the host's liability included in this article also apply for the benefit of employees of the host, Campercontact and service providers involved, as well as their staff, unless treaty or law excludes this.
17. Guest obligations
Upon arrival at the accommodation, you must be in possession of a valid reservation document and/or a legally valid identification document. You must comply with a host's instructions and house rules. You must leave your place in the same condition as you found it at the start of your stay.
The travel agreement and other agreements are governed by Dutch law. We find it annoying if you are not satisfied. Do you have complaints about the location? Please let your host know as soon as possible, preferably during your stay. The location manager will deal with your complaints and work with you to find a suitable solution.
