Point of Ness Camping Site

Scotland's most beautiful campsite! You're right on the sea, the ferry passes by. You're in town in 15 minutes. Good sanitary facilities. What more could you ask for? The warden looks like Iggy Pop!

A spot right by the sea. The receptionist was very nice and even spoke a few German words: I don't understand that! ;-). Sanitary facilities were clean and everything was there, including a washing machine.

We stayed in May and had a great time. Lovely views, lots of wildlife, and very near to the ferry back to the mainland. The toilet and shower block were excellent and the laundry facilities looked great but we did not use them. You are in easy walking distance of the town. Watch out for the starlings in nesting season! They like to nest in car bonnets! So check yours daily.
