Recreatiepark Kasteel Ooijen

It's a shock upon arrival. A barn on the verge of collapse. A permanent area with caravans and other ruins that are about to collapse. a migrant worker mobile home site directly adjacent to the campsite. The castle does not appear to house a restaurant. As a surprise, behind this misery lies a touring area with beautiful spacious places between hedges. Excellent sanitary building with good unlimited showers. 22 euros in October

We arrived a bit later so our reception was in the restaurant here the staff was not too professional. Our spot was fine, if a little tight to get to the spot. The plumbing looked a bit old but inside it was not that bad. The corona measures were a bit over the top in the toilet building. But better too many measures than too few. All in all a great stay and good to cycle to Arcen.

Campsite almost empty despite high season. Nice big pitches and great pool. A good camp shop would be a nice addition. Friendly administrators.
