Camping de Meulebarg

A wonderfully beautiful, spacious, and above all, well-maintained campsite with plenty of space for campervans. The sanitary facilities are super clean and tidy. Beyond the campsite, it's an ideal base for many activities, including cycling and walking, and Apeldoorn is also close enough. A supermarket, Piet's bakery, and restaurants are all within walking distance. A beautiful and very well-maintained campsite in a wonderful setting.

This is by far the campsite with the friendliest owners. Furthermore, the campsite is super neat, everything clean. The places are level and even with rain there are no puddles. Yes, no Sunday departure / arrival sometimes gives a challenge, but we do not find it a problem compared to the rest of the enjoyment. By the way, the friendliness is contagious, it rubs off on the other guests.

At the campsite, Sunday rest is highly valued. We respect that and booked 2 nights on Ascension Day so that we do not have to leave on Sunday. However, that is not the intention, for the Ascension weekend a minimum of three nights must be booked or paid for. That means either arriving or leaving on a working day, or paying for an unused night. Making choices but not wanting to bear the consequences.
