River camping Bled

A place that's somewhere between a (spacious) campervan site and a campsite. Even now, in September, it quickly fills up with mostly campervans, but also many caravans and tents. Spacious pitches. Friendly and helpful reception. Excellent and clean sanitary facilities, a sandwich kiosk (open until 8:30), a restaurant, and a beautiful swimming area. Lake Bled is about a 15-minute bike ride away. The surrounding area invites you to explore.

We stayed here for one night on our way back from Croatia. We'd booked a pitch A, but upon arrival they told us they had double bookings and we were assigned a B pitch. It was fine for one night, but by then we'd had enough. The bathroom facilities are spotlessly clean, which is very important to us.

To be on the safe side, I booked online a day in advance at the end of August. According to the website, only one spot was available in zone C. The campsite was very busy, and early in the morning there was noise from the busy traffic on the adjacent road. The campsite is probably also used as an overnight stop because campers start arriving at 6:30 a.m. The sanitary facilities are fine, but not perfect! We paid €60 per night!
